More De Liguoro jewelry on display, this time at the Museo del Gioiello in Vicenza, a prestigious museum space set up in the Palladian Basilica, as part of the “Italian Jewels” exhibition.
Born from the tireless commitment of Alba Cappellieri, Director of the Museum, the exhibition celebrates Made in Italy jewelry both for its cultural and aesthetic values and for the "economically relevant" role this sector plays in our exports. It highlights the creativity of Italian fashion houses and designers, our cultural plurality, and at the same time magnifies – as it could not be otherwise – the high craftsmanship of our great goldsmith artists.
The 270 pieces of jewelry, carefully selected by the scientific committee—which involves the goldsmith districts of Vicenza, Valenza, Arezzo, and Torre del Greco—are distributed across nine themed rooms to recount, with immediacy and great pathos, the excellence of Italian goldsmithing.
