That it is a decidedly bold and histrionic piece is evident to everyone; after all, it is a piece of Fashion Jewellery in perfect De Liguoro style, a jewel that fully expresses our DNA and tells our 60-year history well. However, some "web" pundit has defined our necklace as ugly, or rather horrendous, claiming that the "web" – which she used to support her thesis without providing any data – did not appreciate it at all.
Yes, that’s right: the necklace that everyone wants, and that is already being exchanged at Grande Fratello as a style icon, has been described - believe it or not - as horrendous.

Criticism is always useful and welcome, and all opinions are respectable - after all, our grandmothers would tell us "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" - but we suspect that this web pundit is unable to grasp the very meaning of creativity, the sense of art, design, and fashion, and their role in understanding, elaborating, and accompanying the evolution of society, sociability, and taste, and therefore of what will be perceived as "beautiful" in the future.
She probably, like Andy in "The Devil Wears Prada," thinks that this necklace has nothing to do with her "[...] you go to your closet and you select out, oh I don't know, that lumpy blue sweater, for instance because you're trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back [...] but what you don't know [...]" and she is probably just as cheerfully unaware of the evolution of fashion in the coming seasons, and so, like Andy, she will wait until what is seen today eventually becomes to her taste.
Miranda Priestley would probably, with the grimace of a disdainful smile, even justify her for appreciating the caricature of a diva who, by copying the legendary and incomparable Sandra Mondaini, has instead taken a decided drift towards the divine Moira, Queen of the elephants.
Joking aside... we love our work and we adore fashion, and we will always defend its role, because as John Galliano says, "fashion is first and foremost the art of change."
