It is the Italian version of Who Bares Wins, a program dedicated to raising awareness about medical prevention, during which a group of celebrities puts themselves out there, stripping down in a choral dance and striptease performance—Full Monty style for the gentlemen and Burlesque for the ladies—to accompany whom the sparkle of De Liguoro jewels could not be missing.
At the heart of the program is an important message: the importance of male and female cancer prevention, for which we at De Liguoro also thank the RAI public broadcasting service.
Certainly a bold project, and perhaps not immediately understood, but the 12 artists (Corinne Cléry, Maddalena Corvaglia, Valeria Graci, Elisabetta Gregoraci, Brenda Lodigiani and Alessandra Mussolini, Antonio Catalani, Gabriele Cirilli, Gianluca Gazzoli, Francesco Paolantoni, Memo Remigi and Gilles Rocca) who put themselves on the line on the stage of the Teatro Parenti in Milan deserve great applause.
Yes, a huge round of applause, because they accepted an arduous challenge in a truly worthy experiment, which in addition to the message about the importance of prevention, sends another, more subtle but no less important message: an invitation to everyone to accept themselves for who they are, thus finding serenity in self-awareness beyond one's physicality, just as the 12 artists did by showing their bodies as they are, accepting their peculiarities and signs of aging, without any fear.
An act of courage that sets you free and "that can save your life."
